Marriage - a legal relationship that binds a couple together for the purpose of reproduction, physical care, and socialization of children. Age of consent is 16 18 in most states. In some states younger than sixteen must have parental consent. Almost half of us states do not have a minimum age (this is a problem) texas minimum age is 18, younger than this you must have parental consent. In the event of divorce, property and wealth is equally divided, even if one spouse was not working. When you marry you are taking on partner"s debt as well. Family of origin / orientation family you are born into. Family of procreation when you marry and have kids.
