Affect women around ages 30 to 50. Women are thought to experience triggers more often. Thought that high estrogen can trigger symptoms of ms in women. Less than 10% of people who have a genetic marker for the disease will get the disease. Sometimes people have symptoms years before they have an acute flare-up that lead them to see a doctor.
