Indigestion: women tend to have worst outcomes, longer to diagnose women because the last four symptoms are very vague, later to catch/diagnose. Admit reason: for 2 weeks, has had increased sob and more frequent chest pain when walking - relieved by stopping or taking sl nitroglycerin. Ran out of nitroglycerin but is waiting on his income check before he refills. This morning he was watching tv with his wife and started experiencing cp and diaphoresis, so his wife drove him to ed. Pmh: htn, cad with chronic stable angina, dm2, hld, obese, osa -wears cpap at night, renal artery stents, Home medications: lisinopril (ace inhibitor), hctz (diuretic), atorvastatin (statin), metformin (anti-diabetic), nitroglycerin prn chest pain, famotidine (protein pump inhibitor) prn reflux. Chest pain at rest, chronic stable angina is progressing he has diaphoresis. Does not have medications to determine if it will go away.
