Classical conditioning: the association of two stimuli in the environment: when you think about something else when you see something. Mcdonald"s arches: ivan pavlov- russian physiologist, never intended to do psych research. Ucr: cr- conditioned response (a response that after conditioning follows a previously neutral stimulus, conditioned taste aversion: involving the learned association between a particular taste & nausea, habituation: decreased responsiveness to a stimulus after repeated presentations. Positive reinforcement- occurs when a response is based on the reoccurrence of good when you do something. Secondary reinforce- getting a paycheck for a job. Observational learning: also called imitation or modeling, learning when behavior is observed and imitated. Bandura"s model of observational learning: attention, retention, motor reproduction, reinforcement or incentive conditions.
