4:59 pm: information moves around in a computer over electronic circuits known as a bus, a bus can be viewed as a digital delivery system. One component can send data to another by supplying the data, and indicating where it should be sent. Using the bus, the cpu sends a request to the memory for the value at that location, and the memory returns the value to the cpu over the bus. All of these components work together to perform the work of the computer. 4:54 pm: in order to get the programs (sequences of instructions), and data it needs to operate, there must be ways to input these to the computer. Read it from a cd or dvd, read it from a flash drive or sd card, type it in from a keyboard, move/click a mouse, or download it from the internet.
