Broadcast: organized in time, journalist as personality, emotional appeal= the feel of it, sensory input high but passive audience, if breaking story, report is immediate, trust self because see and hear it. Online: organized in unlimited space, journalists/ anyone else. It is interactive: multi- layered because of depth/ breadth and much more information, always on. Reader determines what news they view: only downside is if one loses power, multimedia: sound/ images/ graphics/ video/ sound, be careful, not everything is credible! Journalism at its best: accurate, credible, honest, the truth, clear/ engaging. Does not require multiple reads: mostly everyone can understand, objective, unbiased, impartial, factual, covers all relevant sides.
