Predefined process: square within a rectangle that creates a sub-process. Tip: color code each type of shape it"ll be a helpful visual aid to make scanning easier. Right click on the shape to add a connector. Name connectors coming out of a decision diamond. Clearly indicate start and end points (terminators color code and bold your font) Keep direction of the flow consistent: top to bottom, left to right (often used for decisions) Break down steps to a consistent level of detail.
