We really do not have freedom and should not be fully responsible for everything we do. Skinner is a radical behaviorist b/c he gets rid of the concept of the mind and leaves it to philosophers. Deals with reflexes, stimulus substitution in s-r connections. Response repertoire in any given situation an organism will emit a variety of responses. Positive reinforcement = given positive stimulus; give positive things. Negative reinforcement = taking away negative things to reinforce the behavior. Shaping = rewarding little by little for the behavior; reward behavior that can lead to something else to happen (ex. writing alphabet in grade school writing essays later)
