Discuss the organization, lifestyle, leadership, and economy of prison gangs. Leadership is defined by a variety of ways: physical or intellectual; biggest and smartest guy, may be a matter of seniority, may be a matter of election (transnationals) Issue = the 14th amendment (equal protection under the law: supreme court held that everybody within an institution has to have equal access to everything that the institution has to offer. Idea is to disrupt the gang/control it by taking out the leader; move the leader.
