Inguinal canal- during development in the womb testes start in the abdomen near kidneys and drop down though this canal during 8 months. Fully drop in during child births happen 99% of time. Scar tissue will cover this canal preventing anything to pass in or out. Next to large intestines if not closed properly large intestine can poke through causing inguinal hernia. Penis is divided into 3 parts: root, shaft, glans ( tip) Coronal ridge or corona connects the glans to shaft. Corpus cavernous- chambers on the left or right side. Corpus spongiousum- runs on the bottom of shaft surroundings urethra. When erect u urethra blocks urine only semen is ejaculated. Scrotum sac of skin contain the testes and spermatic cords. Scrotum acts as the climate control system for the testes using special muscles to move the testes close to the body to stay warm and away to cool. Temperature control is very important to keep sperm viable.
