Non-necrotizing cellulitis - microorganisms nd entry though skin breaches. Cellulitis - diffuse spreading infection of the dermis and subcutaneous tissues. Spread rapidly and destroy a signi cant amount of tissue. Management short course therapy for uncomplicated infection variable treatment duration for complicated infection. Hsv-1 and hsv-2 are common, life long viral infections. Type 1: found on the face, oral cavity, lips and skin. Type 2: std resulting in painful anogenital lesions. Occur on skin, mucous membrane, central nervous system, and genital tract. Secondary - exogenous or endogenous trigger that activates dormant virus = outbreak. Complications effect on quality of life due to psychosocial stress pregnancy.
