Shapes: made up of strokes, and ills, stroke: A line created with pencil, pen, and ink botle tools. Pen and pencil- let you draw a line or the stroke of shape freehand. Must connect the outline by closing the shape . Ink botle- lets you create a stroke outlining to an already made ill of a shape: fill: Area of illed content, such as illed solid color. Brush-lets you paint a ill freehand shape. Paint bucket-lets you ill in an enclosed area (stroke/outlined shape) Symbols: stored in the library panel, can be used muliple imes in the project without increasing the ile size of the project, to create a symbol: Method 1: convert an exising shape into a symbol select shape choose modify convert to symbol or right click and choose convert to symbol. Method 2: create a blank symbol, and add shapes or other symbols. Merge drawing: default opion, overlapping shapes are merged (ater drawn)
