Biblical and rabbinic perspectives: biblical perspective . Shabbat should be different from all other days. On shabbat, you are supposed to be focusing on g-d: rabbinic perspectives . No matter what happens, shabbat will always come. Difference between two houses: one is prepared and inviting for shabbat. Need to create a routine for it to happen (won"t just be ready on it"s own: one is unprepared and uninviting for shabbat. Shabbat as a palace in time": heschel"s quote . Saying that your human interaction is completely different on shabbat than the rest of the week.
