Parents have an influence on emotional regulation, and can either be emotionally coaching, supporting their child"s growth, or emotionally dismissing, not speaking on negative emotions, encouraging stagnation. Children get their moral compass from their parents dismissive would not. Coaching should be encouraging and teach the children how to self-sooth, whereas.
