Document Summary
Strategy is a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim. It is the road map from where you start the idea (research) to how you deliver the idea (implementation) Our targeted outcomes are rooted in (and, indeed, a product of) our formative research. A first ad important thing to think about when establishing goals/objectives is positioning. Positioning: the process of managing how an organization distinguishes itself. Many strategic communicators define goals as desired outcomes that are general/global in nature and objectives as desired outcomes that are specific in nature. Goal: we want to improve the public perception of our company. Objective: among senior residents of the community, we want to increase positive attitudes toward our company by 30% over the next 6 months. In pr there are 3 types of goals: We want to enhance our department"s reputation as the best place to study public relations.
