Document Summary

*hydrogen can be oxidized. (the process of removing an electron from an atom, molecule, or ion. ) It uses a spontaneous chemical reaction to generate electrical power. The two dimensional solid form of a crystal is the lattice position. An empty seat would be a lattice defect. The hotter the crystal, the more the molecules move around the lattice position. In order to move around in the lattice position, the molecule must have energy and an empty seat. If the temperature gets high enough, the crystal melts and becomes a liquid. In a gas, molecules move across the area until they run into a wall and bounce off. Plasma is atoms that have been stripped of their electrons. The fifth state of matter, bose einstein condensate, was an experiment to cool atoms by hitting them with photons (with a laser) which would slow the atoms movement, and cause them to cool. Measurements: a number (magnitude, value) and a unit.
