Everyday life in the 1700"s: nobility, upper class commoners, middle class commoners, the poor masses. Rank was based on title and land ownership and size of estate and home. Socialized with high nobility from other countries. All noblemen got preferential treatment in court. All noblemen had top position in military. Had legislative chambers and only had the right to bear arms. Refused to take a job that required manual labor bc it was beneath them. College wouldn"t be important to nobility, instead they went on a grand tour. Educational field trip with tutor that explained things to them. Attends parties where you would meet other upper nobility. Everyone would be speaking french to get around the language barrier. Lower nobility would look for a rich commoner and marry their daughter in exchange for their children to carry their title. Most would be found in northern / western europe due to trade.
