Deming"s 14 points: create a constancy of purpose: a manager must add a sense of purpose to their job and remind the aspect of stability in the workplace. They must explain the competition between employees and how it will help them in their future careers: adopt the new philosophy: a manager must become familiar with current trends in the industry. They must keep up with new technology, in order for customers to keep interest: cease dependence on inspection: managers must inspect quality while the product is being made or served, not just after. Beginning with good quality means there is less likely of a chance that the quality will be poor: end the practice of awarding business based on price: minimize as much cost as possible. Look at your budget and see what can be cut or adjusted: improve constantly and forever the system of production and service: stay competitive with the other companies in the marketplace.
