Concert Etiquette

• Events are considered formal

• Don’t wear shorts and tshirts, dress more formal (business casual)

• Opera concert has strictly enforced dress code, will not let you in if you are

not dressed correctly

• Arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of time in order to swipe in and out and find

a seat before it starts

• Doors will not open until about 15 minutes before the concert and they will

close the doors as soon as the concert starts

• If you arrive late, the usher will not let you in until the piece being

performed is finished

• Save the program for reference on the report

• Applaud at the end of each piece but not between movements, wait until the

last movement
