Political science - the scientific study of politics; principles and procedures for the systematic(removal of bias) pursuit of knowledge with problem-solving using the scientific method: experiments, data collection, and hypotheses. Political science is game of thrones, meaning whose values win. Politics - many different definitions; how groups of people make decisions; structural movement of the government; a struggle for power. Social experiments can exclude external validity, meaning that people know they"re being watched therefore the application of the results from a social experiment can be false when dealing with the real world. The goal of social experiments is to minimize bias and false responses to treatment. Develop a falsifiable(can be proven wrong) theory that can aid in answering the question. Collect data so the theory can be empirically(by means of observation or experience rather than theory or logic)tested. Null hypothesis - no difference in outcome.
