Often associated with poor coordination, weak of stiff muscles, vision or hearing difficulties. Possible cases: premature birth, infection during pregnancy, head trauma early in life, a small number of cases are inherited. Most common neurodevelopmental disorder: occurs in about 1 in 800 live births, most common cause is trisomy 21.
