Social-cognitive learning theories: locus of control, reciprocal determinism, if-then relationships. Personality: characteristics patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving: like temperament in children, the study of personality rests on the assumption that there are stable individual differences between people. Opposite view: people are all the same, but influenced by environment: assumes that across time and situations, identifiable patterns emerge in people"s behavior. Of course situation influences how extroverted you are, but overtime you will notice patterns.
