American quarter horse: developed in colonial america, bred for sprinting the quarter mile, ranch and show horse, 14-16h. Warmbloods: group of middle-weight horse types and breeds, bred for war and sport, ex: hanoverian, holsteiner, oldenburg, trakehner, westphalian. Clydesdale: from clydesdale scotland, usually bay with white socks and feathering of hair, used for work.
