A tragic hero is typically depicted as a hero who dies far away from home, such as the case of achilles. A comic hero means that the hero gets a happy ending that he"s been wanting since the beginning of the quest and has earned during the quest and is rewarded with after the quest is over. Odysseus" representation of a comic hero is his scar; it"s his mark of identity and reveals his true calling and shapes his character. He doesn"t have anagorisis during the trojan war battle because he maintains his identity during combat. And he doesn"t want to be god nor beast, so he preserves his humanity by not eating strange food. Odysseus is an inspiration for his peers after surviving the trojan. War, because he gives hope to people to survive any obstacle that comes their way. She continuously calls him a stranger and questions him why is he here.
