Surely there must be other types of logic out there! Or perhaps you"ve had the joy of having a day where everything just goes perfectly! Well in logic, we have the logical equivalent of those scenarios. So as we can see, the contradiction is never true. This makes sense because having the opposite of something and that something cannot both happen at the same time. Also known as, when everything goes your way day. As this truth table shows, the tautology is always true. In fact, it is known as being stupidly true. If you say, all people at least 10 feet tall will become the next president of the united. States, that is a tautology because there are no 10 feet tall people in existence (yet). If there one day was a 10 foot tall person and he didn"t become president, then the tautology could be debunked.
