Large and important figure in the expansion of the press and drew more readers in. Covered a lot of gossip and scandals. Had two barrels and a piece of wood on top of his desk when he first started out. Not clear if he would succeed but he turns the herald into the paper with the largest circulation in that time. Always defended his cause no matter how unpopular.
