Unix: family of multitasking, multi user computer operating systems that derive from original. Slow and costly, getting requirements specified is often a challenge, not always the most flexible, and can be model-centered when mechanically implemented. Whatsapp- an app that supports sending and receiving texts, voice calls, photos, videos, etc. over 1 billion people in 180 countries use whatsapp. Tagging language that can be used to identify data fields made available for use by other application. The social graph- the global mapping of users and organizations and how they are connected. Total costs of ownership for is systems- programmer fees, application/technology costs. System that records a transaction (some form of business related exchange) such as a cash register sale, atm withdrawal, or product return. Two-sided networks- also called two-sided networks are economic platforms having two distinct user groups that provide each other with network benefits. Example: xbox, they have the consumers (gamers) and the producers (game developers).
