Female figure: large, excess skin around midsection (several births) (fertility) Female figurine (later cycladic: funeral offerings, small breasts, arms crossed (same as earlier cycladic woman above) The harpist: expressive form head tilted neck, splayed forms, early vs late harpist. No monuments to gods or kings (more about nature) Palace at knossos: new-palace style, elevation and maze of corridors and staircases (staggered levels, magazines were storehouses for food (down into earth cause too heavy) Storage jars (pithos: inverted wooden columns and open staircases, use of lots of natural light, dolphin freeze vibrant color and dynamic movement and figure distribution. Seems believable and sense of motion: la parisienne. Movement (curvature and elongation) , symmetry, colorful, athletic. Bull jumper: ivory sculpture, athletic and naturalistic. Snake goddess: curvaceous again, depicts goddess of animals it seems. Bull rhyton: vessel for pouring ritual fluids, naturalistic and decorative. Kamares ware jug: curves (spirals and waves). Made using new potter"s wheel: fishing motifs.
