Fertilizers add nitrogen and nutrients to agricultural ecosystem. Eutrophication is the enrichment of an ecosystem with chemical nutrients: accumulation of toxins. Biological magnification concentrates toxins at higher trophic levels. Pcbs and ddt from pesticide show this massively: climate change. Greenhouse gas = infared radiation bounces of it and heat trapped. Increase temp increase decomposition increase gas in air. As ice melts more freshwater in the ocean so less salinity. Ice less salty at poles so more buoyant so less sinking down of water: water stops sinking = gulf stream current stops, when water sinks due to heavy ice, gulf stream fine, ozone depletion.
