Macros: a set of instructions that accomplishes some type of task (a program), it automates a task and allows you to save a set of commands and execute those commands automatically. Purpose: macros are more sophisticated and faster then you can compute. Automates tasks, less experience people can run macros and do sophisticated commands, extends what you can do with the keyboard (regarding logic) Excel start, excel template are already deemed trusted locations. You set the macro security in the trust center. The trust center is a central location for all the security setting in office. This helps block without warning potentially dangerous content. Naming the macro: unique name that beings with a letter up to 225 characters, cannot include spaces or special characters. Use capitalization to indicate different words (ex: namesandcourse) Shortcut keystrokes: create a shortcut key assigned to a macro, this helps you execute the macro by using only one letter.
