Persephone is equally smitten and refuses to give him back. Zeus says that a third is spent with each and then adonis decides for the other third, he chose aphrodite. Because of this his sexual life begins a little earlier than it should. Adonis to stay away from hunting wild animals (gives the example of atalanta).
