Leone, conflict diamonds/blood diamonds, the proceeds of these diamonds were used to fund this group and used: russia, australia- argyle mine, most productive diamond mine in the world (source of all pink diamonds) Diamond has an octahedral crystal form (double pyramid), they are faceted into specific shapes [top=crown, bottom=pavilion), this takes advantage of certain properties of the mineral to maximize its brilliance.
