Free markets are the best way to organize the economy (liberal economic policies) Democracy/individual rights not a priority, can be detrimental to nation. Authoritarian government should protect the interest of the whole country. State should intervene in the economy to ensure security (nationalist economic policy) Working class interests more important than individual or national interests. Revolution needed to overthrow capitalist states & implement marxist economic policies; then. Freedom in a capitalist democracy is an illusion; states there serve the capitalist class the state will wither away (communism)
