Myth: io is rapped by zeus, and in order to hid from his wife he created a dark cloud around the earth. Zues turns io into a cow when hera goes looking for him, and hera asks for the cow as a gift. Zues then releases her from hera by cutting off argus head. Oistros/ oestrus- gladfly , sting, or agony , madness , and sexual frenzy (as in animals) . He comes and insult and threaten prometheus.
