Manipulating - taking the information and moving it around to make it work for us. We all have different ways of organizing because we each pay attention to different parts of the information. What you are following or paying attention to. What is the focus of all of your senses. Intensity - more intense - more likely to pick up on it. Repetition/pattern - brain will pick up on this better. When things are randomly distributed we are less likely to pick up on it. Change - when there is change - more noticeable.
