The greatest improvement in the productive powers of labor is credited to the effects of the division of labor. Division labor should be observed in particular manufacturers. Business divided into a number of different branches. Proper division and combination of different operations leads to more output. In every manufacture labor is broken down into subdivisions. In improved societies labor is divided into many hands. Productive powers of labor do not keep up with their improvements of manufacturers in agriculture because it is impossible to make a completely separation of labors. Superior countries may have better land etc. but they"re not always better at poorer countries in productivity. Increase in quality of work is consequence of the division of labor. Increased dexterity increases work able to be done.
