Rarely does a single individual do the influencing. Result of human action - things are created by the actions of may people, but no person pal s or intends the outcome. Invisible hand - self-intertetsed actions turn out to benefit others. Emergent order - social phenomena that emerge from the complex interactions of individuals containing logic although not planned out by any individual. Individual impact on english language is so small it is almost zero. Understanding how individual interactions contribute to the whole is the most important part of understanding the economic world. Smith describes how individual choices lead to important social outcomes. He claims we decide what is proper and improper, just in the way english is decided. Each of us in a way create morality trust and civilization. Smith argues culture are the result of the tiny ways we interact. Desire to be loved - seek approval/disapproval. Smith claims god is the author of nature.
