Social diversity: promotes innovation, forces us to act di erently, forces us to be more creative, forces us to work harder. Cognitively and socially: results in better arguments, can result in less trust, can be di cult. Norms: there is no norm - like white or able. Ethnocentrism: the belief that one"s way of doing things is the norm, cause of drama/con ict , a culture"s group is the center of the universe and everything else spirals around them, that is so weird . Wealthy people live longer because of access to health and better food: is the american dream a myth or a reality, geography"s in uence. Vary depending on where you are from. The privileged don"t have to hide: but we"re all privileged in some way or another.
