Person grounded in technology, fluent in business, a patient diplomat & provides important bridge between it & the business. Enterprise architecture: includes plans for how an organization will build, deploy, use & share its data, processes & it assets. Architecture backup & recovery, disaster recovery, info security. Backup an exact copy of a system"s information. Recovery ability to get a system up and running in the event of a system crash/failure & includes restoring the info backup. Fault tolerance: computer system that is designed to ensure business continuity & backup should a component fail. Failover: backup operational mode in which that functions of a computer component are assumed by secondary system components when primary components go off line. Disaster recovery: detailed process for recovering information or an it system in the event of a catastrophic disaster such as fire/flood.
