There is a newly approved policy now states that any employee who has a visible hickey will be sent home without pay, and remain home until the hickey is gone or until it is covered, also without pay. The reasoning for this new policy is because there have been many complaints reported from colleagues and patients concerning employees exposing hickeys. These small bruises can generate bigger fantasies of the imagination. We are not trying to invade on our employees personal life and time, but to be respectful of this policy and show professionalism while at work.
