Document Summary
We are finishing assigned readings this week and i would like you to use the material to reflect on the course themes and carson"s legacy. What stood out to you most in the two essays we read by. Carson and conservation go hand in hand with her beliefs and writings that she displayed. Conservation in her mind was a sense of being able to appreciate species in their natural environments and being able to witness their unique beauties. 35) by conserving and cherishing nature such as this allows for encouragement of forward thinking about ecological concepts. If one does not appreciate experiences with nature, there is no drive and motivation to protect it. Once one realized that they care about nature and the unique wonders, they can embrace other relationships of nature. This opens to being able to connect not just a blue heron out at night, but other ecological connections it may have.
