Mcadams intimacy motive: engage in warm, close, positive interpersonal relations with little fear of rejection. Attachment theory- mary ainsworth attachment styles: secure, insecure. Hazon, shover first relationship strongly influences adult relationship. Power motivation need to have an impact on environment: appear competent and in control.
