The spent reflection activity put my weighing best options to the test. Being given options and choosing which one best fits your lifestyle and what you can afford was beyond challenging. Not only did i hang up on a debt collector because my credit card was past due, i ignored my car payment for the month. I also had a yard sale to make a little extra money, ignored my sweet tooth, donated plasma, drove away from an accident and never missed work even when i was terribly ill. Whether it was something i was or was not doing, like paying bills, it was never enough. I would get paid and then life would happen all over again. With hardly any money left over, i felt like i would not make it to the end of the month. As a result of financial struggles, i began to stress and experience chest pains.
