(abstracts written before the paper is written aren"t always good or right, but it helps to have the idea) First 5 lines: setting up counterarguments and defining what the problem is. What this article does, the position of the writer and links position to a research purpose. Ultimately, the research produced will be used in this way. Defining terms and why the argument is right and how. Most people say it can"t be done. (not the intro paragraph, that sets it up. The abstract wraps it up (but still comes first)) Final paper will have both abstract and essay.
