We use media to navigate physical spaces. We are so used to having gps that we get lost frequently when we don"t have it. Media creates pictures of places in our minds. Media can bring people together in physical spaces. We use media to broadcast ourselves in physical spaces, tell others where we are, Mobile media are used to track our location and activities in physical spaces. Yelp: russell simmons and jeremy stoppelman raise 100 million in funding for an email circle site that helped friends swap reviews. Yelp is a filter of a city, promoting consumption at certain businesses and away from others. In 2008 yelp starts new page for business owners, business owners can purchase ad space, and yelp will place their ranking higher. Some business owners have been accused of soliciting people to write positive reviews for them. Prosumption : prosumers produce the content that they consume. Prosumers generally feel pleasure from their participation.
