Psy 202: the study of scienti c psychology, a state of the art introduction to you and me to us, examine topics from the following perspectives. Social & personality (how are we unique as individuals and how do those traits transfer to a group setting?) Cognitive (what"s going on in the brain?) Clinical (when things go wrong psychopathology, mental illness, etc. ) It is also considered a hubb science, meaning that when you do a search on a psychology-related topic, it will pop up in a wide variety of articles. Core themes: brain, mind, individual, groups, studying topics at many different levels (genetic->brain regional->individual-> social->cultural, universal vs. Universal: babies generally reacting to strangers with fear and anxiety between 8-12 months.
