If others are in danger due to the (cid:858)sick(cid:859) person there is a push to o(cid:448)erride the indi(cid:448)idual(cid:859)s opinion on their o(cid:449)n mental state to protect others and the individual. Depressive v. violent tendencies: and why does this matter, a matter of personal, interpersonal, and community safety, as well as emotional health. It helps the individual find other like them, label the diagnose (this has both helpful and negative effects).
