Metaphor: victims in abusive relationships do not realize the abusive nature until it is too late. Vision: a world where every child, adult, and animal is treated with kindness and respect, especially in their relationships . Goal: to launch the first evidence-based relationship violence prevention initiative in colleges and universities throughout the world . Voices of hope: to give victims hope that things can get better, part 1: 10 survivors sharing their story of overcoming their abusive relationships. Survivors must be in a healthy place measured by their therapists: part 2: interviews from national experts on how to get involved and on current issues, uses narrative therapy: writing your story becomes therapeutic. Re-framing/processing the event to break it up into manageable bits. Physical relief health decreases, but improves greatly. Sharing stories help others share their stories.
