It had a clear idea of radical freedom of form and idea of open manifestation of the complexity of the building. Started in th1 1970s in the postmodern era of deconstructionism. 1977: centre pompidou, paris: Hi tech refers to exploring the workings of the exterior technology of the building. Trying to relate connection from moving away from old system to a more modern system, trying to make apolitical statement as well. Had basic necessities ( water pipes, stairs etc. ) of the buildings exposed, this opened up a clean interior of the inside. It has five open floor plans built of concrete supported by steel columns and trusses.
