Existentialism is true, it doesn"t mean existentialism is true. It simply means you arbitrarily defined yourself and truth in accordance with existentialism: existentialism ignores the fact that certain facts are true absolutely, regardless of how you choose to define yourself or them. One apple plus one apple will always yield two apples, so certain truths are determinative of our essence prior to existence. Since it doesn"t make sense to claim human beings evaluate without reference to evaluation in terms of some norm or standard, existentialism is false and externalism is true: existentialism is an impossible worldview. It emphasizes freedom and individuality in an absolute sense; we are the creators and definers our reality. For example, the essence of my great grandfather can exist, even if he is no longer alive. Since the two things are inextricably separate, we cannot define one by the other: this ignores certain features of human existence beyond our control haselhurst:
